LRW Publishing was founded by author and publisher Lisha R. Williams, the CEO of L7 Enterprises. She has been recognized by several groups and organizations for being an influential entrepreneur for young people across the nation.
LRW Publishing and Consulting is a small publishing firm that believes in encouraging others through the world of literary arts. It is our mission to uplift and inspire readers to make a difference.

We are like a family who wants to see the best for our clients and we cherish the publishing decisions they make. Even if your project is not accepted with us, we refer you to the best publishing company for your publishing needs. We are the only company that does this, which makes us rise above the rest:
1. Fee Structure
Most publishing companies charge by an hourly rate, but LRW Publishing has one basic charge, which includes your copyright, ISBN, worldwide distribution and free online marketing with our website.
We do not keep inventory of printed books, you will have to order them two weeks in advance of an event or purchase them periodically and keep your own inventory. See the following chart for details:

2. Reimbursement
Publishing is a serious commitment and there are NO reimbursements issued during or after the publishing process. You have to consider your options before signing on to LRW Publishing.
3. Art Production (typed layouts, type specs, mechanical assembly)
If you have a custom cover that you wish to use for your book, you are responsible for making sure that the designer is financially taken care of. LRW Publishing only issues royalty checks to the author only.
· Nondisclosure - Author agrees to receive, hold and maintain in secrecy and keep confidential all information regarding production of this publication until the time of release. The Author shall not, directly or indirectly use, copy or disseminate the deliverables regarding the publishing project to any other publishing company other than LRW Publishing, except when permission is granted. This obligation shall survive any expiration, termination or cancellation of this agreement, and shall remain in full force and effect.
· Originality and Accuracy – Author agrees that the manuscript being published through LRW Publishing is their original work, as expected due to copyright laws of the United States government. Author understands that plagiarism is against the law and LRW Publishing is not responsible for any lawsuits or other legal matters pertaining to their publishing. Author agrees to undertake due diligence and make every reasonable effort to ensure the accuracy of their publishing.
· Ownership – Author agrees that the production of this publishing shall be defined as work-for-hire, and understands that ownership rights of the ISBN shall become the property of LRW Publishing. Author agrees that ownership of the copyright is that of the author(s) and is responsible for the marketing of their finished product.
· Non-compete – Author agrees not to solicit, engage or work with any other publishing company during a six month period prior to or after the date of this signed contract.
· Conflicts – Author warrants that they are not currently engaged in work that is directly similar to the project mention in this contract.
· Manuscript – Author understands their manuscript must be in Microsoft Word, Outlook or WordPerfect when forwarding online. If mailing a manuscript, it must be on CD-Rom or Flash. LRW Publishing does not retype any manuscripts due to time management.
· Return of Materials – Author understands that the original manuscript and photos, if any, given to LRW Publishing will be returned once the project has been completed. Author understands there is no need to contact the publishing company after the materials have been returned.
· Proof and Editing – Author understands that LRW Publishing is not responsible for proofreading or editing any materials, due to the respect of the author’s First Amendment rights. Author understands that LRW Publishing does not represent them as ghostwriters and will not point out any errors, including grammatical or research; if editing is necessary, I, the author, understands that I will be charged an additional fee for labor.
· Reimbursement – Author understands with the work-for-hire payment arrangement that there are absolutely no refunds, under any circumstances.
· Royalties – Author understands that any online sells from Amazon, Borders, Waldenbooks, MySpace or Barnes and Nobles, in addition to any other online retailer, results in a royalty check issued by Lisha R. Williams, CEO of LRW Publishing and Consulting, at the end of each month. Author understands that they are responsible for their own book sells and marketing, including the responsibility of reporting and filing their own 1099 tax form for the following tax year as required under the federal laws of the United States.
